This expansion is only playable together with the base game Rattus.

The Black Death travels with Merchants across the Mediterranean and is now ravaging Northern Africa. The introduction of the Caravan and Diplomats adds new strategies, and with the new region cards the players have more control over the consequences of the plague.

This expansion makes Rattus a completely new experience. Now it is also possible to play Rattus with 5 or 6 players!
